MacTalker 2.0 is available through UPTIME magazine in Rhode Island.  It costs
$14.95.  I prefer SmoothTalker from FirstByte, Inc.  You have more control over
voice parameters (e.g., male vs. female voice, treble and bass, etc.) than with
MacTalker.

Mactalker is available via UpTime:  PO Box 299, Newport, R.I. 02840 (401) 849-
4925.

Smooth Talker can be purchased through MacConnection: (800) 622-5472, for ~$30.

p.s.  I have had some problems running SmoothTalker on my Mac SE (running System
      6.0.2, and I have notified First Byte.  THey say they are looking into it.
