I am trying to get information on hooking up an old
Summagraphics Bitpad to an old Mac. In particular,
the Summa is compatible with their "Bitpad One" and
the Mac can be considered a 512KE (actually it
started life as a 128...). This mac does not use
the Apple Desktop Bus for its mouse.
Does anyone have the pinouts and protocol for the
old mouse port?
If this is an impossible venture, does anyone have
any hints on attaching the RS232 Bitpad to an
Apple desktop bus?
Summagraphics says they don't want to hear about
it, and to just spend the $800 or so on a new
bitpad designed for the Mac...
