Hi, Does anyone know what the application "DM_FIX" does? It seems to add code resources to the Finder and when it comes up, it says "DESKTOP Manager Finder Patcher" or something like that. Phil Hunt

The patch alters the Finder so that it closes the Desktop DB and DF files on unmountable volumes so that you can unmount them. This is for users of the Desktop Manager INIT only. And please, DON'T ask what the DeskTop Manager is. (We've been over it three or four times in the last month. Look in previous weeks' news if you don't know.) Alexis Rosen alexis@ccnysci.uucp
