The internal hard disc on my 512K died recently(Hyperdrive 20). I opened up the Mac's case, & looked at things with my trusty DMM. The Hyperdrive's power supply board is dead 120VAC was going in OK but nothing was coming out. So, according to theory, the hard disc itself is OK. There are 2 voltage levels that are suposed to be provided by this supply. 1) Anyone know what voltages (AC or DC ) the power supply is supposed to produce (one is probably 5VDC for the logic & the other probably runs the drive's motor & the Fan) 2) anyone know about availability / price of a replacement board. I'm not sure I'm up to troubleshooting this with a DMM & no schematic ( looks like a pulse power supply). Any help appriciated. TeriAnn twakeman@hpcea.ce.hp.com (415)857-5057
