[comp.sys.mac] Dungeon of Doom 4.0 vs. Mac II

jasper@cisunx.UUCP (Jeffrey A Sullivan) (01/09/89)

So, is this game Mac II compatible? If so, how? It crashes for me.

Has anyone made a thorough check of free- or shareware programs/games
that run on the II?

The Dungeon of Doom left the shareware market last year and is now in a new
and improved version that is called the Dungeon Revealed that does work on the
Mac II. It is distributed by Woodrose Editions, 608-836-9387.

I had a very interesting experience with Dungeons of Doom (I don't remember
the version number) and the Mac II. The game crashed unless the video card
was installed in slot one (with a bus error). This took quite some time to
track down. I still don't know if it qualifies as a hardware design error or
a problem with the software.
