I am wondering how feasible it would be to reprogram my keyboard layout on an extended keyboard. Specifically what I would like to do is make the right control key (just right of the space bar) be the backslash key (I work in Tex all the time and this key is used constantly--my fingers are small and it's difficult and awkward to reach the backslash with my pinky). I really know nothing about programming (or very little), so I may have to get someone else to do this for me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated through e-mail. Lisa Laguna

The latest version of ResEdit (1.2b3) has a great Keyboard/character table editor. It's the only major improvement I have noticed.
