We have a lab with 18 Pluses and SEs connected with LocalTalk to an AppleTalk ImageWriter and a LaserWriter +. One SE is an AppleShare Fileserver. Lately we have encountered a message when attempting to print to the ImageWriter in Best or Faster mode that an error has occured and to check the cables. It does not seem yet to be reproducible, but I'm posting in the hopes that others have seen it. At one point today, printing occured if the copy of WriteNow used was launched from a Workstation diskette, but failed if WriteNow was launched from the Server. We don't think the version number is important, since we have seen the problem earlier with WN 1.07, AppleShare 1.1, and System 5.0. Today's experiment was with WN 2.0, AppleShare 2.0, and System 6.0.2. Draft mode always works. There are no problems if the Workstation is booted with AppleShare turned off (although still active for other Workstations). Any ideas?
