Configuration: 5 Mac:s , appletalk, 1 plotter, kinetics, ethernet, unix Problem: getting plotterdata (HPGL) from Mac to unix. I am very new with Mac:s. What I try to do is to get different programs in my Mac (ie MacDraw) to write me a plotterdata file that I can move to my unix (V.2) machine. The problem is that I can find no way to get the programs to write on a file in stead of on the serial port. Anyone out there who has an idea? (Yes I have a bad sollution - connecting the serial port to my Unix-machine and then send data to the plotter via the spooler - no problem - but helps only one or have to be done for each Mac.)
