I've sent this question on to Aldus but don't know if they'll answer, let alone how fast. I'm trying to set up a nametag template in which the format and logo on the nametag are in PageMaker and the names and titles are in two files (which I have in WriteNow). In my template, I have the logo on the master page and on page one I created text blocks which flow one into the next, i.e., the first name flows into the second, into the third, etc. and the first title flows into the second etc. similarly. I have text flow set to automatic. However, when I place my file of names as the whole story, instead of text flowing and creating many pages, it only flows through the last name text block on page one. Does anyone know whether PageMaker (this is version 3.01) can be cajoled into flowing into such restricted text blocks as opposed to into whole pages or columns? It occurs to me that I could put in blank graphics on the master page to at least keep text out of the nonprinting areas. I'll try that but don't see it is a very satisfactory solution.
