Does anyone know of a piece of software that would notify me of syntax errors etc. in PostScript files before sending them to the Laserwriter? I am aware that various desk accessories (e.g. Allotype's Laser Status) tell you in a somewhat terse fashion what has gone wrong after you've sent something to the printer - I need something more along the lines of the debugger in MacPascal. I deal with a lot of large text files downloaded from a mainframe onto a Mac II and sent (in the form of PostScript code) to the Laserwriter. (By the way - I posted a similar query on comp.lang.postscript and neglected to mention that it was software for the Mac I was specifically interested in. Sorry for the duplication - I'm just getting the hang of this network thing.)
