A brochure I received from CE Software yesterday mentions a product which
I had never seen described. QuickRemote seems to have something to do with
mail, modems, and connecting to Unix. As I regularly connect via modem to
Unix in a way that makes mail handling rather awkward, this might be very
useful.
I would appreciate information from anyone who knows whether QuickRemote
would let me handle my Unix mail locally on the Mac, calling Unix via modem
at my convenience. Does it use UUCP or some Unix server of its own? Does
it really make things more convenient?
