Hi.. I downloaded GateKeeper ver 1.0 off of my school's mini a few days
ago, and seem to be having trouble with it. (Our school's Mac group stores
all incoming comp.mac.binaries in a directory so we can grab what we like
at our own time!)
It seems to install OK, and I can add/delete files to be given permissions
by it. HOWEVER, when I'm done selecting the options, and I hit the "put
away" box of the Control Panel, I get a System Bomb, ID= 02 !!
The only way I've found to get around this is to select a different icon
from the control panel (like the Pyro! icon, or SoundMaster); once that
add-on is showing, I THEN can put away the Control Panel without problems.
Have other users experienced this problem? I'm not using any other virus
protectors; I'm using a Mac Plus and a SuperMac 30meg drive.. no spooler or
other creepy INITs are setting up that I know of.
