I am the sysop of an (Apple II) BBS in Portland, OR called Applephilia. One
of my callers is looking for some information about M.I.T. Here is part of

Yes, I have THOROUGHLY read the catalog but to no avail. If you can post my
questions, I've be really grateful...
Are there Macintosh labs for students to use openly? i.e. LaserWriter,
printers and Mac SE & II's.
Does MIT offer a student discount program on Macintosh computers and
software?
Is the Mac a widely used system at MIT? (like Reed college)
Again, I really would appreciate your help. The reason why I am curious is
because I'm thinking about purchasing an Mac SE system w/o a printer; I want to
be able to use the Mac at MIT next year but wanted to save some $$$ by not
purchasing another Imagewriter II. All I want is to be able to print out my
