Since there is currently some discussion of SFVolInit, I ran into a problem
recently on a friends machine. When running Giffer 1.0 (under System 6.0.2
on a 5M MacII) I could switch volumes without any trouble using the drive
button, but the machine crashed (don't remember the exact error message) and
had to be rebooted if I clicked on the volume name (to bring up the menu).
Is there a known problem with these two? My work around is to always use
the drive button within Giffer, but if this is not a known problem I will
take more time and try to isolate it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
