I am looking for a small unix system to support, perhaps, 10 users.

It should have:

(a) At least 80 Mbytes of disk storage.
(b) A 1/2 inch tape drive (this need not be fast).
(c) At least two Mbytes of real high-speed memory.
(d) Support virtual memory.
(e) Support at least 25,000 flops (floating point instructions
     per second).

Condition (e) seems to rule out most (if not all) 68010 based systems.

Dec's Microvax I, appropriately configured, appears to at least come
close to meeting these requirements.

I would be interested in hearing what other systems come close. Please
send replies to me and I will post a summary to the net.
