re: the problem some people have had launching WriteNow 2.0. There is a problem (that T/Maker knows about) with converting files. Try the following: 1. Create a "text" file (from another application), say "Foo Text" 2. Launch WriteNow and use Open (Text file type) to import the file. 3. Write it out as a WriteNow format file using Save As "Foo WriteNow" 4. Exit WriteNow. Notice that the file you created is named "Untitled-1" (or similar). 5. Double-click "Untitled-1" -- WriteNow exits with error -43. When I reported this, T/Maker came up with the following work-around: Save the file into a directory whose folder is not open on the desktop. I suspect that there is a file name cache operation that is not properly updating the disk directory contents. Whether this is a bug in WriteNow or Multifinder is anyone's guess.
