In the always-informative MacInTouch column in this week's MacWeek, the two Ric{k}s mention that Excel 1.5 doesn't recognize the 68882 for floating-point operations on the Mac IIx, SE/30 and other 68020/68882 boards. Microsoft will distribute a patched version of 1.5 for the asking, however, that corrects this problem. Rather than try to wade through Microsoft Customer Support, I was wondering if anyone has the patch to Excel 1.5 laying around, and wouldn't mind posting it to the net. I can use MacSnoop to patch Excel myself, and it would save MS the price of a disk. (What a humanitarian, eh? :-) ) T.I.A.... "Intel architectures build character." "Segments are for worms."
