[comp.sys.mac] How to use the mail server at Rice?

Hello everybody,

Recently I saw a posting asking for help with the Rice
mail server. Since I too do not have access to off-site FTP, this
sounds like a very reasonable alternative to access the archives on
Sumex. Could someone send me (or even better post) complete
instructions on how to use the mail server?
