I am hoping the vast MAC-knowledge subscribing to this group can help me uncover or discover a needed MAC feature. Recently, when creating a technical report I needed a special character that was not part of my KEYCAPS. Is there any way I can create my own special characters and define them in KEYCAPS for use in WORD or MACDRAW II. Joe Gutierrez E-mail: cs.utexas.edu!oakhill!elmer!joeg

You can modify a character that you do not use on a font with resedit or Fontastic. Then whenever you wanted to use it, just go to that font, and press the proper key or key combination. On a similar vein, what {and when} ever happened to the old Alt key figgures that used to be on the bit mapped fonts?? I miss the sheep, planets, trees & such. TeriAnn
