My brother in law wants to put his small business on a personal computer. He is running a stable. He needs programs to do accounting, billings, mailings and to manage his database of clients. In particular, he needs to monitor some additional properties about lesson tickets. These tickets are valid for a given number of lessons and for each lesson take by the client, the number of remaining lessons needs to be updated. He has about 200-300 customers who change with time. He would also want to do mailings to all the customers he has + had (a few thousand). Any pointers to software packages or to software that could easily be extended to do all that would be appreciated. Else he will buy a PC (IBM compatible). And guess who will have to help him with that ?? Writing Excell macros is not something I am considering, let me know if I am wrong. thanks for any info Rene Bach Switzerland
