Hello people. I've got a SuperMac 19" Triniton monitor on my Mac II with a Spectrum-8 video card. There seems to be a horizontal flickering; not a flickering in the sense that the image is flashing, but rather that the screen lines are shaking horizontally. Thus if I draw a horizontal line, it appears basically stable (unless you look at the tips), but if I draw a vertical line, the whole thing appears to shake. (I hope I haven't just confused people!) Anyway, the thing is really driving me crazy. Looking at it for long periods of time drives my eyes crazy, reading text on it gives me a headache, and large graphics with open fields of white have those horrible "waves" that run through them. For a monitor this expensive, this should not be happening. Any suggestions short of lugging this 90 pound monster into the shop? Gabe, If you haven't tried moving the video card, re-attaching the video cable, or trying a new video cable and/or card, I'd recommend that you get in contact with a SuperMac Authorized Dealer. Fabian Ramirez SuperMac Technology fabian@cup.portal.com sun!cup.portal.com!fabian
