Hi all. I was playing with Versaterm PRO (I think it was 2.1) at work and running through the file transfer routines when I came across the following. When Text Kermit receiving from one of our U*IX systems running C-Kermit, I found that the clock would speed up on the mac so that the time as displayed by the user's Superclock (3.0?) would increment seconds in concert with the packet reception. I couldn't tell, but it SEEMED to me to be going faster than 1/sec, so the clock was being sped up. Am I imagining it? Or does Kermit use 1 second packets? Or does this actually happen? Anyone seen it? Thanks. I was just a little confused...still am, actually. :-) -JBZImmerman! -- ___________ | "Elephant- a mouse built to government || | specifications." -RAH as LL || ||acob Zimmerman!+> <zimerman@phoenix.Princeton.EDU> INTERNET === | <zimerman@PUCC> BITnet
