[comp.sys.mac] HELP! Bad binhex files from sumex...

I need a little help, here...I've retreived some binhex files from sumex using
the Rice automated mail server (thank you, to whoever did that, by the way),
and four out of the five I have retrieved report a CRC error when I try to
decode them using Stuffit 1.5.1, Binhex 4, or Binhex 5.  It's not because
of excess garbage on the front (the file names are reported correctly), and
a visual inspection of the files does not show any apparent spurious noise
as having crept in.  The binhex files were sent via e-mail to this campus,
and then downloaded to my machine using Kermit, so there doesn't seem to by
much chance of noise getting in, anyway.  The errors all seem to occur near
the end of the file, but are not EOF errors, and the ending colon is there.

Any ideas?
