A PLEA to APPLE --------------- I have recently been looking through the quickdraw command set. I sure hope Apple considers extending it, along with adding 32-bit capability. What good is 32 bits of color, when all I can do is fill polygons and draw elementary ovals? Come on, Apple, what about -- 1. B-Splines 2. Rotated Text or bitmaps 3. Arbitrary Ovals (e.g. rotated) Why not borrow additional operators from Postscript? Who wants to draw trivial figures in 32 blazing bits of color!!!!! The answer is: image processing people. They don't need structured graphics. However, I believe Apple is overintoxicated with this market. Structured graphics sells much more macintoshes!!!
