Mac IIcx = (SE/30 + MacII (box only)) / 2 This should be within $50-100 (except for the MacIIcx 40, which is a bit less). This formula is based on suggested retail prices, but should be even closer for University and Developer prices. It sould work for equivalent models (plain, 1Meg Memory/40 Meg drive, 4 Meg Memory/80 Meg drive) Numbers should be rounded to typical last 2 significant digits of other models! Boy, I'll die if this is really how they picked thier prices!!! But they are pretty accurate. Thanks Apple, this is even less that I expected! The formula for model numbers is just way too big for a post! Just remember you heard it here first. -- Tony Jacobs * Center for Engineering Design * U of U * t-jacobs@ced.utah.edu
