I bought a Taxan Crystalview 1901 for my Mac-II about 3 months ago. Comes with a screen-glare filter (like a Polaroid), and costs about $1800 (includes card). I bought it due to the recommendation in the side bar of the MacUser magazine that tested large-screen monitors, and said thatthis monitor had superb quality for a low price. And they were quite right. Except for some game programs, and other PD programs (which didn't work on my Apple Color Monitor either), everything works perfect, including Moire, a screen-saver, Pyro!, another screen saver, etc.,etc. The picture quality is stunning. The characters are much crisper than the characters on the Apple monitors---despite the 19'' size. And, of course, the characters are much crisper than the characters on Sun and Dec 19'' monitors. The worst thing about the monitor: Taxan doesn't promote it very well. For those who can live with this fact, I would definitely take a look at it. For my part: I am unhappy with the Mac-II, but extremely happy with this display system. Ivo
