After reading about the prospective release of VersaTerm 4.0 on the net, I
was surprised that I hadn't gotten an update notice (I have been buying
updates from them for years, up to the present release, 3.2). From what I
had heard, release was imminent, and I was very interested in getting an
upgrade to 4.0.
It's not quite imminent. The person I talked to at Synergy (or whatever
they're calling themselves these days) said that while the software was
ready, the printer probably hadn't even started the new manuals yet. He
expected the 4.0 release to be out in about a month. He said that the
upgrade would cost $20, along with the cover to the old VersaTerm manual.
I'll probably send in mine tomorrow...
