I've been reading all the press about the Apple lawsuit over the logo, and there's something I'd like to ask/mention. I've always been told that a contract can be invalidated if it has not been enforced. People have been making music on Apples since the Apple II in the mid 1970's. Doesn't it seem a little late for Apple Records to come along 13 years later and demand a piece of the pie? Anyway, as I see it, none of the computers are expressly designed for making music. There is something I don't understand. How can Apple Records be accusing Apple Computer of making music synthesizig deviced? Even a mac fully equipped with MIDI is not a synthesizer. It only provides the digital information to drive a synthesizer. If they consider it a synth because of its own sound chip, then the Apple II could have been considered a synth and then they should have sued in 1976 or whenever the Apple II Integer first appeared.
