[comp.sys.mac] Apples sued by the Beatles

According to the Guardian newspaper for 2 March, the three surviving members
of the Beatles plus Yoko Ono Lennon have filed a lawsuit against Apple for
marketing "music products". The Beatles' company, Apple Corporation
(remember the record label?) says Apple Computer has broken a copyright
agreement. Apparently in 1981 Apple promised not to use the trademark
on musical equipment. Legal sources say damages could run to millions
of dollars.
Linking your Mac to a synthesizer could be more expensive than you thought.

Actually, I read in MacWeek that it was George Harrison's idea. I think that
he's the one that's most in touch with technology of the remaining one's.
