A while back I remember seeing a key combination that could be held during boot-up to keep the SE's internal hard drive from mounting and appearing on the desktop. Could someone with a better memory than mine please e-mail me that rascal? Command-Option-Shift-Control-Delete. You may not need to hold down all these keys (your mileage may vary), but it does work when you do. It takes two hands, anyway. -Steve Bollinger

Hi, The combination to ignore the internal Hard disk at boot up is Option+Clover+shift+delete A large list of these little short cuts was sent to sumex-aim by Ed de Moel recently .
