I picked up the Pointing Device cdev from the net a few days ago and I think it's great. As far as I can understand, it is also free (no shareware or other fees). Today I also got the february number of MacUser where the Kensington Turbo Mouse trackball is reviewed. Here I am told that Kensington on direct order only sells the Turbo Mouse cdev for $15. This is obviously exactly the same program as the Pointing Device cdev (apart from the ICON displaying a trackball instead of an arrow). Why, even the version number is the same (1.2). Why should one have to pay for something that is free? +-------------------------+--------------------------------+------------------+ | Sven Axelsson | d83_sven_a@tekno.chalmers.se | DISCLAIMER: | | dep:t of Linguistics | (^^ best ^^) | | | univ. of Gothenburg | dlv_sa@hum.gu.se | This is not | | SWEDEN | usdsa@seguc21.bitnet | a disclaimer. | +-------------------------+--------------------------------+------------------+
