Well, it has been over half a year since System 6.0 was released, thus I believe that by their own statement last year (by John Sculley I believe) that Apple owes their users a new System release (6.0.X does not count, they should not have been needed in the first place, except where X=3), yet there is not one in sight. It would be nice if they would at least fill us in on their specific plans, and tell us approximately when and what they will release. It can save money and time that people would spend making/buying an alternative product which might implement some features that Apple will include in the next system release. After all, is not a big part of the foundation of the Apple philosophy to give the user control or if the user does not have control, keep the user informed?
