[comp.sys.mac] Apple HIG findings on color

instone@bgsuvax.UUCP (Keith Instone) (03/10/89)

I am looking for research findings about color on the Macintosh.

I know that at last month's San Francisco Macworld Expo,
there was a session entitled "Color and the desktop interface".
They concluded that people use color for functionality
and aesthetics at the same time and that there are no global
color meanings.

Where can I get more details about this session?

Better yet, all this was based on findings by Apple's Human
Interface Group, so how can I get a hold of this research?

Standard stuff: Thanks in advance, use email, I'll post
summary, etc.
