It is with heavy heart that I must announce that I am unable to post zebra lady to comp.binaries.mac, and have mailed the moderator to ask him to halt the submission. I have been informed that one of the reasons Claris yanked the pic from MacPaint 2.0 is that they were given notice of the painting's copyright by the artist, an Olivia de Bernardiis (sp?). I apologize for not making completely sure before offering the file, and urge that anyone who does have a copy kill it. I was unaware of the copyright when I made the offer. -JBZimmerman <snif> -- ___________ | "Elephant- a mouse built to government || | specifications." -RAH as LL || ||acob Zimmerman!+> <zimerman@phoenix.Princeton.EDU> INTERNET === | <zimerman@PUCC> BITnet

For those still dying to see the Zebra lady (in full color, yet) you might try connecting to GEnie and searching their Mac file library. Sometime last year I downloaded a color scan of the full painting (much bigger than what showed up in the old MacPaint 2 About box). Assuming it's still there (because of the previously mentioned copyright problems), and you have a Mac II/IIx with color monitor, you'll find it to be a very impressive graphic (actually it may have been a black and white scan colored in Pixel-Paint, but still nice).
