Hello net people, Are there any neural nets boards/software for Mac? Any informations are welcome. Thanks, Masataka Yoshikawa myos@Jpncad.Intel.Com

I know of two (I'm sure there are more). MacBrain is commercial, and I belive it is also stackWare. It is also expensive. I also know of a NeuralNet stack, but don't know how well it works as I don't know all that much about neural nets. I have had many requests for this stack (it's not mine, but I have a copy :) so I am going to load it up into the .binary group tonight. Hope this helps. Geoff.

One you may also want to look at is called the Cognitron, which is software, and Cognitron Prime, wh/ is a board and maybe software combination. The software by itself supposedly works on most Macs (don't know about the 030s). I'm just glancing at a brochure I have from: Cognitive Software, 730 East 30th Street, Suite 7, Indianapolis IN 46205. I found a review of it to be quite positive, it's a bit expensive for me. Educational discounts, however, are mentioned. Their phone # (317) 924-9988. -- Frank Malczewski (malczews@castor.usc.edu)

Theres the one I'm writing. You can get it by anonymous ftp from csvax.caltech.edu. The file is named Thesis.sit.hqx Pierce -- wetter@tybalt.caltech.edu or wetter@csvax.caltech.edu or pwetter@caltech.bitnet Rule to live by #32796: Act consistently in one persona until people have characterized your reactions, then change personas.
