I have a MAC-II with 4MB of memory and a 40MB hard drive that I want
to connect to an existing Ethernet. Most of the systems connected to
the net run UNIX (Sun and MIPS flavors), although there also a few
PCs (MS/DOS) and Prime 50s (PRIMOS) also connected. My current plan
is to buy the Apple EtherTalk board and use the NCSA TCP/IP package.
I'd like to get feedback as to whether I've made the right choice or
if there are better options I should explore.
Please respond by mail. I'll post a summary if I receive enough
replies.
Thanks in advance
Barry

Sounds like a great choice to me. NCSA Telnet supports all EtherTalk compatible boards and devices. anonymous FTP from 128.174.20.50 (ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu) Tim Krauskopf NCSA
