in a previous post i recommended DeskPict.init as a means of providing a color desktop image on macII's. you can also animate your desktop with moving icons using a cdev available from sumex (free) called Fish. this works on macII's and the customizable icons (originally fish) are in color. to use the Fish editor you need to be running system 6.0.x. all of this stuff will take up a considerable amount of system space (~350k) but if you've got it, flaunt it ... -dave- hairston@henry.ece.cmu.edu
