Does anybody out there know what has happened to Yusef Lateef???? This fine tenor sax, flute and oboe player comes from Detroit, was with Cannonball Adderley. After that he made a fine series of LPs on the Impulse and Atlantic labels. This takes us into the early 70s Since then, nothing that I know of. Is this man still alive. If so, is he still playing?
