I am hoping for some of your expert help here. We are trying to put a Postscript printer to use at work but are running into a few problems (see my previous message concerning w2t problems for an example). Another example is when someone using a Mac trys to use the command-F to save off his postscript. He is using something called macps which apparently helps get a lot of output. But we are using a Dec ScriptPrinter and find that often we get a 'invalidfont' error from transcript. Is there anything that the folks can do on the Mac side so that the specific characters can be printed without editing the postscript file? For instance, perhaps embed the particular font characters as bitmaps within the file? Also, has anyone else dealt with this ScriptPrinter and Transcript and perhaps have tips, fixes, utilities to make life easier? Thanks! -- Larry W.
