I was just recently reading through some mail order catalogs when I noticed that Dove is selling an accelerator to run the Mac II at 33Mhz with a 68030. What's the up with this? They offer it at $1040, almost $3000 less than the Daystar accelerators. Is this A/UX compatiable? Any info would be appreciated... Thanx, Ward

No third party accelerators are supported by A/UX (which means nothing as far as whether or not they'll run it). According to folks on CompuServe, however, the Dove upgrade definitely won't run A/UX. chuq Chuq Von Rospach -*- Editor,OtherRealms -*- Member SFWA chuq@apple.com -*- CI$: 73317,635 -*- Delphi: CHUQ -*- Applelink: CHUQ [This is myself speaking. If you have the new Apple ROMs, A/UX will work with the Dove 030. I believe that you get the new ROMs as part of the Apple floppy upgrade. This is not conjecture. They are running A/UX at Dove with this configuration. Tim Smith
