[comp.sys.mac] Davong Systems Hard Drive

jac@paul.rutgers.edu (J. A. Chandross) (03/26/89)

I have acquired Davong systems controller and hard drive (10 Meg). This
is the setup that connected to the serial port on the early Macs (before the
Mac had a SCSI interface available.) I do not have any use for this, so if
you *already* have one of these units and are interested in a spare at no
charge, let me know. This is just a bare controller and drive; no case or
power supply (although I think I have the power supply around somewhere.)

You won't be interested in this unless you already have a Davong since they
are (1) slow (2) out of business. I do not have the software, nor do I know
where to get it, nor do I know if the unit worked when disconnected, nor am I
interested in having anything to do with this beyond putting it in a box and
sending it to you. You pay shipping. First priority will be given to poor
starving students who understand hardware.

Once again, this won't do you any good unless you already have a Davong
systems box.

Send email *ONLY* since I don't read this group.
