Rather than explain how to post, in the style of a good educator, I'll tell everyone where to find out. All new users should read the postings in the newsgroup "news.announce.newusers". If there were an admission requirement for USENET, it would be to read the regular postings there. Here is a sample: 65 Introduction to news.announce 66 Rules for posting to Usenet 67 A Primer on How to Work With the Usenet Community 68 Emily Postnews Answers Your Questions on Netiquette 69 Hints on writing style for Usenet 70 Answers to Frequently Asked Questions 71 USENET Software: History and Sources 72 Alternative Newsgroup Hierarchies 73 List of Active Newsgroups 74 List of Moderators 75 Publicly Accessible Mailing Lists In particular, to post to the binaries group, you might try reading article #74 above. As for posting to sumex, for this consult the group comp.sys.mac.digest. I believe that every digest contains instructions on how to do this. Happy posting. --Walter _____________________________________________________________________________ Walter C3arlip c3ar@zaphod.uchicago.edu (the "3" is silent) c3ar%zaphod@UCHIMVS1.bitnet _____________________________________________________________________________
