[net.wanted] Game Writing Language

I am interested in writing a text-oriented game, but
am not really sure how to go about it.  I understand
that Infocom has developed their own language for this
kind of stuff.  Have they put out anything on it?  Are
there similar languages out there?  Can someone please
give me a pointer on where to look?  ANY information
would be appreciated.

	A Public Domain Adventure Compiler (mentioned in net.games.frp)
is available - in BASIC for the IBM PC and others.  I have a copy (on
Disk only.) You might also be able to get it through PC-SIG and the National
Public Domain Software Center - volume 91. It goes by the name of the Levy
Adventure Development System - but it is much more limited than Infocom's
because nobody can beat Infocom's Parser.

	(Oh what the heck, if you want it, you can get it from me for $5, or
if you prefer: a disk, postage (???), and 50cents extra for the envelope)
