Yesterday I played a while with a really out-of-date-pre-release-beta-
sub-eta-sens-o-matic-demo-etc. version of the Math program Milo,
what has happened to it? It looked really promising to me.

It looked really promising to me. I saw an ad for Milo in either MacWorld or MacUser a couple of months ago, and I believe it should be out by now. In either case, look in a back issue of either to find the Ad. I don't think it's been in the one or two most recent issues. One semi-funny note. The ad has a picture of a mac which sits on a stack of textbooks. From the choice of books, it's pretty obvious that this program was made by an ex-physics major (correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I saw something like that in the Caltech beta release help file...) Notable books include Jackson, Goldstein, and MTW's Gravitation... -Sho

Milo is being marketed by Paracomp, INC. and retails for $250. A local dealer carries it and offers a 25% educational discount. If you are interested, I'd recommend you contact them... Venture Computing (217)351-7084 Jeff Huber jth90342@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu
