[] DIGITAL MUSIC SYNTHESIS INFORMATION WANTED As part of my Master's project to design and build a VLSI digital music synthesizer, I am compiling a survey of current research, implementations, and commercial products for digital synthesis. I would greatly appreciate any information (or references to information) about any work being done with digital music synthesis. I will take anything; assume that I am starting from scratch (don't worry about redundant information). I am especially interrested in real-time applications. Also, the names of the chief contacts at the various computer music labs would be helpful. If people are interrested, I will post the report to the net, otherwise I can mail it directly to those who are interrested. Thanks in advance, your help is indispensable, Ken p.s. My apologies to the news groups for which this article may seem inappropriate. Is there any interrest in creating a news group for music synthesis (maybe net.music.synth or net.synth)? --- Organization: LEMS (Laboratory for Engineering Man/Machine Systems) Brown University, Division of Engineering USmail: Ken Robbins P.O.
