[comp.sys.mac] MacIIx or MacIIcx

Okay - I am getting either a MacIIcx or a MacIIx, and I am looking for input.
The extra bucks to get the IIx is a big factor - but so is the fact that the
IIcx has its cpu soldered to the logic board, i.e. no easy cpu upgrades like for
the II. No easy ram cache, or replacement cpu boards. The extra 3 slots aren't
a big factor. The smaller size of the cx and its lighter weight are nice but
not deciding factors. Any ideas? 16MHz is a respectable speed now, but in a
few months it won't be and third parties will be offering speed-ups for the IIx,
will it be possible for the IIcx?

Also, I am concerned that I will have to wait longer for the IIcx to come in.

Thanks for any help. Please e-mail to me: jcocon@hazel.cs.clemson.edu (I think
that is right).
