I am considering the purchase of a third party hard drive and converting
it for use on a Mac. One of the drives is an ESDI IBM 110 meg drive from a
PS/2. I have heard that there may be an Adaptec [or equivelent] controller
card to allow this drive to function as a SCSI drive. If anyone has some
specific information on how to complete this, please forward the information.
Also available may be a 60 meg Seagate 3.5/HH drive. Would this be easier
to convert? The IBM drive is also 3.5/HH and has a much greater reliability
factor than the Seagate.
