I work for a broadsheet-size newspaper, DTP (Pagemaker) produced. Currently we output to a Lino 300 for final pages (we paste two tabloid-wide pages together) and we're looking for a more economical/speedy solution. Does anyone have any experience with the Varityper VT600W tabloid-size 600 dpi laserprinter? We're looking into it and I'd like some feedback on its quirks and funny habits. Also, if anyone has any info on toner consumption/engine life for the beast, I'd appreciate it.
