I just downloaded the Rogue clone from sumex. But the characters are very unclear when I try to play it. It's impossible to play because everything is so distorted. What am I doing wrong. Is there some font that I need? I'm running it off of a Mac SE w/ a hard drive... Any help is greatly appreciated... This looks like a question that could be better answered on rec.games.rogue.
However, here goes...
Due to an unknown reason(probably a bug), if you click your mouse at any
time in the game or when you are starting a new game, you will get the
"STRANGE" font. To go around this problem, you should enter from the
keyboard only and use TAB keys to go to next fields in the dialog box.
Ok, now does anyone know where I can get HACK or LARN for my Mac?
