I forgot to add to the message previously, You can add the Restart and Shut Down commands if you have the Key Caps DA open while you are recording the macro. the Control-R and ^S will not be registered by the Mac, so it will not restart or shut down. Now you can store the Macro. Doing this with Quickeys is possible, but not necessary. However, some of us do not have hard drives or the room on a system disk for a 125K document like Quickeys (though I wish I could use it!) Tony Lalli Carnegie Mellon University
